Mayor Linda Ackley is a lifelong Walled Lake resident. Born and raised here and proud to call it home.

The Mayor is a huge supporter of community traditions and has been active in beloved local events for decades – from the Memorial Day Parade and Mayor Ackley’s Trunk or Treat to the Christmas Tree Lighting and Summer Fireworks.

Education: Albion College (B.A.) and Wayne State University (Master’s in Public Administration).

Retired Oakland County Public Administrator with decades of government experience ensuring efficiency and accountability.

Founding donor and board member of the Banks–Dolbeer Farmhouse Foundation, where she has worked hands-on to help preserve Walled Lake’s history for future generations.
